What is the aim of the NeoSep ADAPT activities involving professionals who are involved in neonatal research trials?

We want to design a research study that will be beneficial and less burdensome for neonatal healthcare workers, parents and researchers/trial teams alike.

In our group we would like to discuss the benefits and challenges trial teams face when designing and delivering research at neonatal sites. We want to discuss any challenges that you may face and how we could potentially address these issues.

This could also lead on to a discussion on research study design, and how processes could be changed to make research implementation more manageable. We want to know the factors, that you as a researcher or trial team member, consider to be the most challenging obstacles to recruitment, retention, and site engagement when conducting trials.

We will discuss what information would you want to receive to assist in the decision-making process and what is valuable to you and your team, as well as potential issues that block your ability to deliver a study to completion. The purpose of each meeting is to ensure that trial teams and researchers have their voices heard and that their input can be included in the trial design for NeoSep ADAPT.
