Neonatal Healthcare Professionals

What is the aim of the NeoSep-ADAPT activities involving neonatal healthcare professionals?

We want to design a clinical trial that investigates optimal antibiotic management of neonatal sepsis, with the aim of making research studies less burdensome for the healthcare professionals working on NICUs who are responsible for delivering the research activities. It can be challenging to manage research activities alongside the daily responsibilities of a clinical role, so we would like to document and address some of these experiences through this qualitative research project. 

In this project, we would like to speak to any neonatal healthcare professional that is involved in delivering neonatal care or research activities. 

What am I being asked to do?

We are hoping to conduct focus groups with any neonatal healthcare professional who:

  • Currently works on a UK-based NICU, or has worked on a NICU within the last 5 years
 

You are being invited to attend a focus group with our Social Scientist, Lauren Wallis. This will last approximately 1-hour, and more information can be found on the Participant Information Sheet.
